Saving The Mother Planet – Leisa Taylor

She will rise, do what she is wont to do
For she is nature, nature is as nature does – whatcha gonna do?
And we can try to be her stewards, while we tread lightly on her skin
But, in the end, if she can do better without us, she’ll remove us
By flood or famine, drought or pestilence – it was foretold.
We are raised as omnipotent
but really we are just blinded by her reflection.
If we fail, if it’s already too late,
she’ll survive and thrive long after we are gone.
